Isn’t it fascinating?

I think that we are witnessing a major shift in the political domain. I think that the old system shows clear cracks! Hopefully the era of “entertainment” like elections will soon fade away when voters will realize that voting is actually a serious business. That voting has an impact on our real life. I have a faith that the people can become once more the students of values not the followers of media. That the people will slowly realize, that we need someone who can see further than next election, more like next generation! Someone who enter the politics for the right reasons of serving fellow human beings and not protecting a political party or a financial establishment.

In 1965 President LB Johnson during his speech in front of the Congress of the USA said:

“I do not want to be the President who built empires, or sought grandeur, or extended dominion.

I want to be the President who educated young children to the wonders of their world. I want to be the President who helped to feed the hungry and to prepare them to be taxpayers instead of taxeaters.

I want to be the President who helped the poor to find their own way and who protected the right of every citizen to vote in every election.

I want to be the President who helped to end hatred among his fellow-men and who promoted love among the people of all races and all regions and all parties.

I want to be the President who helped to end war among the brothers of this earth.”

It is only 51 years ago…How come we are not hearing words like that from our political leaders? How come we are not hearing words like that from our intellectual elites?

I have a faith that it will not take another tragic war to realize, that the best way to coexist is to cooperate. In the meantime… it is fascinating…
